AZIMIO needs to RETIRE!!

There’s an age old maxim of Equity that was used to assuage a hurt, disenfranchised lot back in the day, it goes ‘He who seeks justice, must come with clean hands’.

I will be courting danger by stating this, but nonetheless, danger has already been courted already, biased to the AZIMIO sycophants The AZIMIO team, from Baba to the ‘mama mboga’ supporting them are guilty of damages done as a result of the protests also are complicit in it’s execution, moreover pre-meditated! The AZIMIO clout-chasers, because that’s all they are achieving with all this shenanigans, have a myriads of avenues, some that would prove more popular and successful that Monday death & pillage; but they choose to pick the means that is loudest, most disastrous, one that preys on the darkest impulses in all of us, stocking violence, pillage and all manner of destruction. The same group cannot, by any level of sanity, any level of human decency, any level of constitutional decorum stand back up and condemn the same violence they stock nor condemn nor cry foul for the destruction that ensues thereafter; this is similar to calling on lightning and crying foul at the thunder-cracks that follows.

Stupid! (pardon my French) sad, very sad.

I am assuming someone of the caliber of Baba aka Agwambi aka Tinga, has with him natural access to an army of analysts & strategists to advice and steer his ship to meaningful/profitable & beneficial outcomes. Such an army of professionals may do and champion action B to elicit reaction Z, unknown to us normal citizens, proletariats! This goes to reason that such a team, call them flutist, along with their tune-caller are responsible for whatever shaoe or form ‘Z’ here is. So AZIMIO should own wanton destruction and general lawalessness. I hold myself though from such faith in their ability to design & determine, given happenings from the recent past, the 2022 elections; obvious gapping holes in the strategy and execution of the campaigns on all levels. This would leave any literate Kenyan with an eye, a brain and memory spanning 5 years, wuth questions, blanks and doubts as to who exactly runs AZIMIO strategy, it surely cannot be the old man, single-handedly? No! Or could it be….? The last remnants of the famed strong-man syndrome, one-man army! The remnants of the old ways still persisting. The politicians scarred by ODM in the past would be very right in their description of Baba as a god within his (yes HIS) political outfit, with sweeping powers such as appointments and express nominations, after all who else is to pick out future Kenyan leaders if not for him? He who has knowledge and experience spanning in excess of four decade?

Sigh…… I digress, Maandamano.

Given the short history, could it be all these protests, strategy and execution, is a product of one man? That all the Senior Counsels dotting behind him are simply there for political clout & relevance? If this is so, then our dear country, Kenya, has more problems & disaster than I or like minded citizens surmised. Let’s call that Worst case scenario, so grave I would like to shelf it owing to my inability to fathom the disfunctionality exposed and generate solutions for such nuclear problems. It honestly would need an actual surgically-precise uncovering with sober minds, that are hideen or dumbed-down in Kenya.

Maandamano Mondays a d Thursday, could and would attract more people if and only if the false rhetoric (PROPAGANDA) of unopened servers and rigged elections could be set aside. It may be a pressure point and a rallying call to the masses, railing them up to excitement, but in a nation like ours and where we are, I don’t think it serves any other purpose than to cause violence and destruction. The opportunity cost of the inclusion of such crazy, illogical ideas is the exclusion of the critical, second-class, hardworking, consequential masses that invest back into our Kenyan economy and society on a daily.
These mass would speak and demand for changes in ways that the whole world would seat-up and listen. The cost of living is high, power costs hijacked by bad decisions and culture in KPLC, taxes and levies make it difficult to run businesses profitably. For this reasons Raila ‘Agwambo’ Odinga ahem AZIMIO coild amass the support of 90% of Kenyans by simply legitimizing the reasons for protest. Of course this goes without saying, the noisy, violent, thieving hoodlums would be at pains to exist and flourish in such an environment but it’s the best bang for your buck, take it for free!

Here for the taking, for power in taken, it isn’t given nor inherited!
